This is a case in point!! I promised you an old story & here it is:

Johnnie," said a teacher in a phsiology class, "can you give a fimiliar example of the human body as it adapts itself to changed conditions?'

"Yes mam, " said Johnnie, "my aunt gained fifty pounds in a year, and her skin never did crack."
