This is my new blog name. Why? Because as bloggers who find success, we are 'together' because we think alike or are interested in the same things. I have decided to add a daily quote and perhaps an old story to my blog. For today the quote is the one I use on my email - "The nobelist mind the best contentment has." Spencer
Does this appeal to you? Nobelist is not misspelled, it is the way Spencer wrote it so please don't correct me. Already caught by a friend who always corrects me. My background is Pennsylvania German, so here is a little story...
A rich man was driving by a farm and noticed a cow. The rich man, never even been to the country, thought this was the neatest thing ever! So he walked up to the farmer and said, "I will give you $100 for your cow."
The farmer thought about. "Well, I have a lot of cows, and I could use the cash, so it's a deal!"
"Great," the rich man said.
"But," the farmer said, "my cow doesn't look too good."
"I think the cow looks great! Here's your $100, and thank you!"
"Nice doing business with you," the farmer said. "But remember, it doesn't look too good."
The rich man drove off.
A month later, the rich man came by the farm again. He was perplexed.
"What's wrong?" the farmer said.
"Well, the darndest thing happened," the rich man said. "The cow walked right in the middle of the road and got run over by a tractor!"
The farmer looked at the rich man.
"I told you he didn't look too good."
I love it!! Of course I can identify with that cow who 'dont look so good' We had afew of these stupid things around.
